Product test:
1. Electrical Performance1.1. Joint Resistance:The joint resistance of each connector shall not exceed the appropriate limit detailed inTable 1. The spacing between the voltage pick up points shall be 30±0,5mm, theapplied Voltage shall not exceed 2V and the current shall not exceed 1A
1.2. Insulation Resistance:The insulation resistance is more than 1×103MΩ after electrification for oneminute at an applied voltage of 100VDC when the connector into salt solution of 5%.
1.3. Dielectric Strength:A 2000VDC or 1500VAC shall be applied between the wire of the connector andplastic cover. No breakdown or arcing of any kind shall occur.
2. Mechanical Performance
2.1. Tensile Test
The tensile strength of one standard wire of connector shall not be less than the figure
shown on Table 2. The tensile strength of one non-standard wire of connector shall not
be less than 80% of the breaking force of the wire.
2.2. Relative Movement Test
Connectors are mounted on printed circuit boards and are affixed to a vibration
machine with frequency automatically varied between 10 and 50 HZ in one minute
cycle, and amplitude of vibration of approximately 1,6mm. The shall be continued for
30 Minutes. The change in the connector resistance shall not exceed 0.5mΩ.
3. Environmental Performance
3.1 Temperature Cycling
Installed connectors shall be exposed to 12 cycles of temperature cycling between -30℃
and +70℃.There should be no evidence of physical damage to the connectors as a result
of exposure to temperature cycling extreme.
3.2 Temperature Life
The connectors are subjected to 100 hours at an elevated temperature of +100℃. There should be no evidence of physical damage to the connectors as a result of
exposure to a temperature of +100℃ for 100 hours.
